Please note that the cost of these supplies will be added to your final invoice for reimbursement.
Providing access to your home or property is a critical component of our service. We take the responsibility of managing keys and access codes very seriously. Your keys are stored securely and are never labeled with your name or address to ensure your privacy.
Please ensure that, in the event of power outages or malfunctions, there is a spare key available on the property. If you prefer that we collect the key before the initial visit, please note that an additional fee will be added to your invoice. Your security and convenience are our top priorities.
At the conclusion of our service, keys and access codes will be promptly returned to you. Should you prefer that I retain the key and deliver it when you are present, please be aware that an additional fee will be included in your invoice. Your flexibility and preferences are important to me.
I want to ensure that your pets receive the best care and attention during the holiday season, which often involves increased demand for our services. As a result, please be aware that our standard pricing will be adjusted during holiday weeks to account for this increased demand.
Prior to the commencement of services, both parties will enter into a formal written agreement. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of our services, including fees, cancellation policies, and other relevant details. The contract helps ensure a clear understanding of our responsibilities and commitments.

In the event of severe weather conditions, we take every precaution to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets. As part of our commitment to their care, we also request that you inform a trusted neighbor about our scheduled visits during the stay.
This additional layer of support and communication is invaluable, especially in cases where weather-related issues may affect access to your home. It allows us to stay connected with both you and your trusted contact person if any adjustments or assistance are needed during the stay.
Please coordinate with your neighbor or designated contact person to ensure they are aware of the stay's schedule. We appreciate your collaboration in ensuring the safety and comfort of your pets during unforeseen weather challenges.
I understand that unexpected situations can arise, potentially affecting my availability to care for your pets. While I am the sole pet sitter and have had very few instances where I needed to cancel a visit, I want to assure you that I have a contingency plan in place.
In the rare event that I am unable to fulfill a scheduled service, I will personally provide an experienced backup sitter to ensure uninterrupted care for your pets. I will ensure that this backup sitter is well-informed and thoroughly trained to provide the same level of quality service that you expect.
Moreover, I emphasize the importance of having a trusted backup individual or neighbor in cases where animals may not be comfortable with new people. This additional layer of support ensures that your pets are always in good hands.
In these exceptional cases, my goal is to ensure that your pets receive the best possible care, and I will work closely with the backup sitter to ensure everything runs as smoothly as it would with my direct care.
As the sole pet sitter at Rare Pet Care, I maintain insurance coverage to safeguard against unforeseen incidents. While I prioritize the safety and well-being of your pets, it's essential to understand that, as an individual pet sitter, I cannot be held liable for circumstances beyond my control.
I recommend that pet owners consider carrying their own insurance for added peace of mind. This can provide an extra layer of protection in exceptional situations. Please feel free to inquire about insurance options for pet owners, which may be available through various providers.
Rest assured that I am committed to providing the best possible care for your pets and will take all necessary precautions. However, your understanding of these limitations is appreciated, and I am always here to address any questions or concerns you may have.
