Contact Us

Corrections, topic requests and advertising enquiries all reach the same inbox, and a person reads them. Replies usually take a few days.

Reporting an error

This is the message we most want to receive. Send the page address, quote the line you think is wrong, and say what it should be. If you have a source, include it. Care information for exotic species genuinely does change, and readers catch things we have missed.

Suggesting a guide

If you keep a species we have not covered, or you had a question that nothing online answered properly, tell us. Requests that come up more than once tend to be the ones we write next.

Removing a comment

If you left a comment and want it deleted, send the guide address and the name you posted under and we will remove it. You do not need to give a reason.

Advertising

For advertising or partnership enquiries, use the same address and say so in the subject line so it reaches the right place.

What we cannot help with

We are not veterinarians and we cannot diagnose an animal, assess symptoms from a description or a photo, or advise on medication or dosage. If something is wrong with your pet, contact a veterinarian experienced with exotic species rather than waiting for a reply from us. We also cannot tell you whether a species is legal where you live, since those rules vary by country and often by state or city. Our disclaimer covers the boundaries in more detail.
